Lot 363
A pair of Art Deco yellow gold, jade, onyx and diamond button-style stud earrings, the circular mottled green jade within polished onyx surrounds, centred with a pierced star millegrain set with rose cut diamonds, 13mm. diameter. (2)* Condition: Some surface scratching to jade on both earrings, probably from contact with the diamonds whilst in a jewellery box. This is not unsightly but is clearly visible under a 10x lens. One small frit to edge of black surround on one earring. One black surround has a small blob of clear glue showing - there doesn't appear to have been a later repair to the earring, so this is probably from during the making.

A pair of Continental porcelain twin handled portrait vases, late 19th century, impressed factory marks and numerals plus script numerals in black to base, the tapered ovoid bodies below waisted necks and cup form rims, decorated with hand painted portraits of beauties within gilded foliate borders on a jade-green ground, 10¼in. (26cm.) high. (2)* Condition: One vase has a small chip of glaze from the neck rim (re-gilded) below which is a hair crack approximately 1½in. (3.75 cm.) long.

A Chinese egg yolk amber snuff bottle, 18th / 19th century, rounded straight sided form, relief carved taotie mask and ring handles to sides, domed pale green jade stopper with bone spoon, 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high.* Condition: Small flake from foot. Two tiny frits to one mask. No other damage or restoration. Weight 16 grammes excluding lid.

Two Chinese porcelain ginger jars, both probably early 20th century, of ovoid form, the first jar and cover with prunus blossom decoration on a jade ground, red painted Chenghua six character mark but later, within double concentric circles, 10in. (25.5cm.) high; the second, decorated with flower & foliate decoration on dark red ground, painted iron red Kangxi six character mark but later, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high, lacks cover. (2)* Condition: Dark red pot lacks cover, no other damage or restoration. Green pot with hairlined cracks to cover, otherwise good with no further faults.

Two Chinese carved spinach jade bowls, 20th century, with deep rounded sides rising ton everted rim from a short circular foot, the softly polished stone of green tone mottled with darker inclusions, each measuring 3in. (7.6cm.) diameter; together with eleven carved jade pendants and discs. (13)* Condition: All pieces in very good condition, with nothing to report.
