A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DISHES, 18TH CENTURY. Each with rounded body and everted rims decorated with a scene from Xi Xiang Ji, 'The Romance of the Western Chamber'. Each with mark to base reading Yu Zhen 'Jade treasure'. 21.7cm diam. (2) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: One dish crack through the middle, probably restuck, with filled chip to rim. The other dish 4cm hairline at rim with a small chip.
A LARGE CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE BELT HOOK, QING DYNASTY, 18/19TH CENTURY. Carved in openwork on top with a bearded chilong facing the dragon head hook, with a large circular button on the underside. Further decorated around the edge with key fret and scrolls to the button. 12cm length. Weight 106.3 grams.Condition: In good order with no major signs of damage or repair. A faint hairline to the beard of the chilong to note.

To include a carved and pierced butterfly pendant with Buddhist swastika decoration mounted with white metal pendants; Two pendants decorated in relief with figure of a monkey and seal mark, with floral spray; Together with two other pendants in the form of a boy and mythical beast. 4cm - 7cm wide. (5) Condition: In good overall condition.

To include a pale celadon jade pendant in the form of a libation cup with dragon; A ruby glass wine cup; A carved lapis cup; A pair of carved horn lions; A carved white hardstone snuff bottle carved in relief; A small green and white stone baluster vase; A small famille rose porcelain pot of ovoid form. 3.5cm - 8.5cm. Otherwise in good order with no further signs of damage or repair.

One vase with six character mark of Chenghua to base, another with 'Yu' jade mark. Probably Kangxi period (1662-1722). 8.5cm - 10.5cm tall. (3) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: Tallest vase with repaired section at neck and rim. Glaze fritting to second vase. The jar with very minor fault at rim .
A CHINESE ARCHAIC STYLE CARVED JADE VESSEL, 20TH CENTURY. Modelled on the early wine vessels, You, from the Western Zhou and Shang dynasties. The vessel with cover carved in relief with archaic motifs, featuring lion mask handles and curved handle terminating at bovine masks, on four animal form feet. 29.5cm tall not including handle. Condition: In good order with no signs of damage or repairs.
A CHINESE BAMBOO AND JADE HARDSTONE PIPE, 20TH CENTURY. Cylindrical bamboo section with mottled grey and black jade piece terminating at a hardstone carving in the form of a hand holding the metal bowl. 37.5cm length. Condition: 3cm crack in the bamboo to one end, with no further signs of damage or repairs.
A CHINESE HARDWOOD BOX AND COVER WITH JADE INSERT, 20TH CENTURY. The pale celadon and russet jade plaque of oval form carved and pierced featuring a deer and foliage, mounted on the rectangular form cover. 18cm x 12cm x 7cm. Jade 8.7cm width. Condition: Joins to the corners of the cover slightly loose. Faint cracking to one edge of cover. No major damages or repairs.

To include a carved jade figure of standing Guanyin; A carved wooden figure of Shoulao holding a peach; Together with one other carved wooden figure. 24cm - 27cm tall. (3) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: Soapstone figure with head restuck, with minor nicks throughout. Shoulao in good overall condition. The last figure with loss to right side of headdress, with some cracks in places to the rear.

One cup with four character mark of Xuande. The bowl with wucai enamel decoration to the exterior of rice grains, with four character mark reading 'Yu Tang Jiaqi' Beautiful Vessel for the Jade Hall. 8.5cm - 13.5cm diam. (6) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: Xuande marked cup with cracks throughout. Shallow bowl with Kintsugi filled chip to rim. Wucai bowl with small repaired chips to rim. Larger dish with filled chips to rim.
A Pair of Carved Jade Drop Earrings, each with rubover set surmount; together with an oval panel pendant.Pendant is in good condition, no damage to claws but does have small abrasions. Earrings are also in good condition, the surmount stones are snugly set however one post is bent. The posts on the earrings have a rubbed mark. The pendant is 1 gram and 2.4cm from the top of pendant loop, the earrings are 2.2 grams and 2.4cm from the top rubover surmount.
Brassware in the Asian style, candlesticks, temple bell, low waisted vases for incense, low censer, Buddha, Framed carved jade oval. (7)There is a slight dent to the bottom of the buddha and on the lip of one of the candlesticks. The frame for the jade is broken. Please refer to additional imagesBell is 23cms High x 17 diam at the widest part of the base, censer 15cm dia x 5cm HighBell has a polished but not laquered finish and there is polish residue throughout, the clapper has been restored with copper wire (shown) top hook may have been reattached at a later date. The inside finish is very uneven as though it has been hand made, with a patchwork effect and seams, see photos.censer has a dent and some pitting, polish residue, there is a matt quality to the upper section which indicates handling, the lower section towards the base is brighter, indicating that it has more than likely been lacquered.
