DELTA "MAASAI" FOUNTAIN PEN 2003 EDITION .Marbled resin barrel with brown barrel and red cap and gold ornamentation and details.Limited edition. Item 0437/1880.Nib in 18kt yellow gold. M tip.Screw cap. Loading by side lever filling system.No box.Measures: 14.2 cm. length, 17 mm. diameter.First delivery of the Series I of the Indigenous People collection; this is the Limited Edition Delta Maasai, a fountain pen dedicated to this African people dedicated to cattle raising and always very striking in the colours they choose for their clothing.The cap is made of a special red resin marbled with small white flecks, hand-turned from a solid bar of material; the crown is made of the same resin as the barrel and the clip is reminiscent of the typical Maasai walking stick. On the ring we can read "MAASAI" and the corresponding contrast of the solid silver in which it is made.The body, also made of hand-turned solid resin, is brownish-grey-pearl marbled, reminiscent of the African land, and is engraved with the brand's anagram, "DELTA ITALY", "MAASAI" and "LIMITED EDITION". It is decorated towards the butt with six coloured rings: orange, yellow, red, blue, white and red again.
