William Frederick Vere Kebbell (1888-1963), Still life with Jade Necklace, signed top left, Mall Galleries label verso, pastel, 52 x 45cm together with a further pastel still life by the same hand (2) William Kebbell was born in Queensland, Australia in 1888 and forged a successful carrer as a portrait painter in London. He was a member of the Ipswich Art club from 1922 - 1926 and also exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy. He specialised in pastels and was a member of the Pastel society, Royal Institute of oil painters; he also found a commercial outlet for his work through the Walker Gallery.
A Chinese blue and white crackle ware ginger jar with treacle matt glazed banding, 21 cm high, together with a polychrome decorated scent / snuff bottle with jade stopper, the main body decorated with boy and peach, bears four character mark to base, 7 cm high, together with a polychrome decorated porcelain saucer, 12 cm diameter and two blue and white saucers, 11 cm diameter each CONDITION REPORTS All items have general wear and tear, the two blue and white saucers have some chips, the polychrome saucer has had some restoration and has significant loss to the enamel work. A jade and diamond ring by Geoffrey Rowlandson, the carved and pierced jade set in a foliate textured 18ct yellow gold mount, with overlapping leaves set with white and coloured diamonds, the shoulders pave-set with matched yellow diamonds, London marks for 2000, with maker's mark, signed, inventory number GR036, size L Geoffrey Rowlandson was born in 1931 into a family of fashion and jewellery designers. The Rowlandson Company began as a means to create bespoke classic jewellery and twenty years ago the Rowlandson Unique Collection was established to create original and innovative pieces of jewellery. Geoffrey's talents were recognised by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmith, earning him 'Jewellery Designer of the Year' twice, 1998-9 and 2002-3, as well as numerous commended awards including 'Me and My Shadow' in 2002 and 'The Royal Christening' in 2014. The Victoria & Albert Museum exhibited his 'Fire and Ice' Tiara in 2002. Three of his pieces including 'Grand Jetι' were again selected for their 2013 Pearl exhibition. More recently in 2014 The Royal Christening brooch was awarded a commendation by The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
A French lavender jade and diamond ring, the jadeite jade cabochon set within double surround of circular-cut diamonds in yellow gold, French control mark, with inner re-sizing shank, size O Accompanied by report number 12349 dated 23 February 2016 from The Gem & Pearl Lab stating that the cabochon-cut jade measures 26.0 x 17.4 x 9.3mm and is natural lavender jadeite jade with no indications of treatment.

A few very minor nibbles/scratches to base, one small piece of black banding missing to rear corner, otherwise generally good condition.
