A WALKING STICK WITH CONCEALED .28 PERCUSSION PISTOL, SIGNED PARIS BREVETTE, no visible serial number, circa 1850, with 4in. Belgian proved barrel originally with in-line nipple (absent) accessed through an aperture opened on cocking and marked 'PARIS BREVETTE', twin platinum lines around loading aperture, folding trigger, angled staghorn and cane handle with white metal mounts and (possibly later) bronze skull cocking-piece, the barrel and action fitting into a cane shaft with white metal mount at throat and brass ferrule, 32 1/2in. overall.
