A Late 19th Century Continental Swordstick, 19.5ins bright steel cruciform blade, with a leather covered hilt, cane scabbard, with brass end tip, 35ins overallThe item presents in condition commensurate with age and moderate usage. The blade itself is in good condition, there is some pitting in general again commensurate with age but no obvious sign of damage. The handle is leather bound and appears to be in good order. The hidden fastening clasp is present but does not function correctly. The main body of the stick is in good condition, the brass insert being in good condition, likewise the ferrule at the tip. Overall an honest example. Prospective bidders are strongly advised to study all images carefully prior to bidding as they form part of the condition report.
