U. a. gepunzt mit niederländischer Blattmarke. L. 7,9 x B. 1,5 cm
A 19th Century jade handled knife with curved blade, 18.5 cm long, together with two similar (poor condition), two 18th Century ivory handled steel two pronged forks and a 19th Century wooden handled oyster knife, together with handwritten note inscribed "This oyster knife was presented to the house on October 12th 1915 by Dr John Collyns who was born in the year 1821, the occasion being an oyster lunch at which Dr Collyns was present, and subsequently played bridge GCHC" CONDITION REPORTS The two forks - metal work rusty and handles with large splits. Oyster knife in very used condition. Blade rusty. Wooden handle faded and split. Jade handled knife blade worn and with signs of rust to the edge and pitting. Handle appears basically intact though with wear and tear conducive with age and use. One side much darker green than the other. The two other knives both wiht sections of handle missing. Blades basically intact though condition poor. See images for further detail.
