A pair of vintage 9ct white gold jade and pearl drop earrings. The earrings having stud fastenings with two threaded cultured pearls with a carved round jade panel suspended below. Earring measure 4.8cm, jade panel measures 1.4cm diameter. Marked 9ct, tests indicate 9ct. Weight 3.9g. One earring back missing. Good condition.

Another with a similar opaque jade-green thread was in the A C Hubbard Jr. Collection sold by Bonhams on 30 November 2011, lot 228. A pink enamel dog rose blossom, with brilliant cut and rose cut diamond set stigma and anthers, and one closed enamel bud. Carved nephrite leaves, two deficient, to a textured gold stem with a pin and roller catch.
