Extra images have been uploaded. There are relic-type pieces glued into the skull which look like a twisted rope and engraved stained glass with old glue. It is hard to say if these are original. The hinge works correctly and shuts flush. The locking pin is present but the chain has snapped holding it to the main chain. The main chain looks to be complete. There are no solders on the collar and no splits or cracks to the cane.

The telescope works well and has no damage. It could have originally had an extension piece to make it eye level? A very unusual nice object.
