A 19TH-CENTURY BLACK FOREST CARVED WALNUT STICK STAND FORMED AS A BEGGING DOG clasping a bobbin-turned stick and mounted on a naturalistic base87cm high Old worm holes throughout, the dog is still solid and the holes need filling. The carving is in good order and has no replaced parts or breaks, you cab see the joints in the timber on the shoulders and the back. The finish is original but dirty and would benefit from a wax.

Neither candlesticks have any holes. Extra images have been uploaded.
AN UNUSUAL 19TH CENTURY SILVER TOPPED WALKING STICK WITH HINGED SKULL POMMEL the solid silver top with hinged skull having attached silver chain shaped as bones and hand; fitted hair wood cane - Possibly for snuff.91cm overallThe timber is Palm wood. Extra images have been uploaded. There are relic-type pieces glued into the skull which look like a twisted rope and engraved stained glass with old glue. It is hard to say if these are original. The hinge works correctly and shuts flush. The locking pin is present but the chain has snapped holding it to the main chain. The main chain looks to be complete. There are no solders on the collar and no splits or cracks to the cane.

The threads are ceased and cannot undo. The telescope is slightly lose on the neck bracket. This must have been made like this for travelling and may have had a travel case originally? The telescope works well and has no damage. It could have originally had an extension piece to make it eye level? A very unusual nice object.

The brass cap is original. The sword has its original scabbard which is worked up to the edges and has paint losses to the brass mounts. The blade has rusted to the top and is pitted throughout. The handle grip is original. the sword does not have a crossguard. It has also got applied metal initials which look to be later.
