A collection of 1920's and later French textile and wallpaper designs from the Bianchini Ferier archive, including typical Art Deco floral and geometric designs. Bianchini Ferier was one of the world's most prestigious textile design companies in its day, employing the artist Raoul Dufy to work exclusively on their designs. A 19th century Meissen porcelain figure of gardener leaning on a shovel beside tree stump with watering can, holding a bunch of flowers, on naturalistic mould foliate scroll gilt heightened decorative base, marked to underneath, number 59 and 692, height 19cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are no obvious traces of restoration when inspected under the UV light, areas of losses to the encrusted bunch of flowers, a few areas of losses to fine fringing to the scarf and sleeves, chip to the edge of the gentleman's coat (corner) majority visible to underneath, areas of rubbing or minor flaking to the paint and some rubbing to the gilt, some surface dirt commensurate with age.

Old Bill WW1 Caricature Car Mascot The mascot is made of bronze and is a head and shoulders of Old Bill wearing steel helmet and scarf. The underside is stamped Copyright and is with registration number. GC with good patina. One small crack to scarf not effecting overall appearance. These mascots were popular during the 1920's and were purchased and mounted onto radiator caps.
