Tibetan jade teacup with lid, on silver base. Jade cup placed on a silver holder with a wide scalloped edge, richly decorated with floral driven and engraved decoration and images of figures. The lid is decorated with floral engraving and provided with cartouches depicting animals. The button is decorated with a red coral. 2 Fracture lines in the jade cup, otherwise in good condition. A Chinese carved pale celadon jade chilong cup, probably Qianlong period (1736-1795), the vessel carved with a short, stepped foot, with two large chilong dragon handles, a smaller chilong climbing up one side of the cup, 3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) wide, 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) high, with a carved, pierced hardwood stand with silver wire inlay, and a similar hardwood cover with carved coral money finial.* Small chip to jade to the edge of the foot/base. No other faults to jade. Glue residue at joint of monkey and hardwood cover, with some flakes and small chips from surface of coral around the legs. Hardwood stand and cover in good condition.
