A Chinese Silver - Inlaid Bronze Figure of a Guanyin, Qing dynasty, 19th century. Depicted standing, The Guanyin hands clasped in front of her. She is dressed in a long dress embellished with cloud patterns in silver inlays. It bears a silver-encrusted signature of ''Yutang Shisou'' on the back. The mark 'Yutang Shisou' may be translated 'Old man rock of the jade hall'. The expression of his face is serene, his forehead is enhanced with the silver-encrusted urna. 48.5cm high.
