CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE CARVING,of oblong form, carved in high relief with a sprawling dragon figure surrounded by birds and foliage, 6.7cm x 8.4cm, set within a scroll-pierced hardwood frame, 10cm x 10.8cm overallCondition generally good to fair. The jade would benefit from an overall clean, and has adhesive residue to back where it was mounted to base. Minor nibbles are evident to the inside rim of the piece, as evident in the first image. Some minor abrasion to the base of the piece, though nothing to detract from the overall effect. Wear to wooden mount base as per age including some splits to wood. Additional images now available.

CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE CARVING,pierced and carved in bas-relief with a bird of paradise amongst foliage, 8.5cm x 4.8cm, on fitted hardwood standConidition good to fair. The top with darker residue to some of the engraved detail. The base is more rough in texture, and there ks a section to both left and right side that isn't flat, perhaps from the carving process. Small nicks and nibbles to outer edge and raised sections including small chip to lower centre edge. Natural internal structural irregularities including a small fissure upper left corner which can just be felt with a fingernail. The stand with adhesive residue to top. Also sticker to base. TWO PAIRS OF EARRINGS comprising A PAIR OF JADE EARRINGS, oval cabochon jade within ribbon settings, with screw thread post fittings, 1.5cm by 1cm, 2.8 grams; and A PAIR OF 9 CARAT GOLD AQUAMARINE PENDANT EARRINGS, each as two graduated pear-cut aquamarines, with post fittings, hallmarked London 1995, 1.4cm long, 1.2 grams. (2)Both in good condition. The jade measure 11mm x 8mm approximately. The jade earrings are not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold.
