A cylindrical lavender jade pendant with cap fixing and a circular carved light green jade pendant in the shape of two fish "Pisces" sign of the zodiac. Gold marks to both bales. Lavender jade approx. 4cm including bale, green jade approx. 2.5cm diameter.

BOXED CHINESE JADE FIGURES & STANDS - WITH ORIGINAL RECEIPT, 1960. A pair of mid 20thc jasper jade figures of ladies, the figures holding a tray with a tea cup and with matching stands and in a fitted box. With the original receipt from 'Jade Arts Company, Kowloon, Hong Kong', purchased in 1960 by the vendors relative. Figures 13.5cms high, with stands 15.5cms high. Box 25cms by 22cms. * One figure has some small chips/marks around the edge of the tray and cup, there is a black mark across the body within the jade., The other has a small nick/mark to the edge of the tray, black mark to the back of the body within the jade. **BP 22.5% inc VAT + Lot Fee of £8
A Chinese carved and polished celadon jade twin handled cup, with central band of decoration to the body and spreading circular foot, now presented on a modern wooden stand, length 9.5cm, diameter of bowl 6.5cm, height 3.5cm.weight of the bowl is 71g. Provenance: private collection, North Yorkshire. Additional InformationThere are natural flaws/cracks to the bowl as you can see. There is a horizontal internal 1.5cm crack above the central band of decoration, a 1cm hairline crack to the rim, a further 1cm hairline crack to the rim, and a crack running through the body.

Additional InformationThe bangle has a crack running through it and the crude white metal band may be covering something up. There are two further cracks either side of this ans some staining. The rectangular plaque is in good condition with general surface wear throughout.

A Chinese pale celadon and grey jade archaistic vase: of flattened baluster form with simple loop handles, finely carved overall with taotie masks and designs, the stone with darker grey and russet inclusions, Qing Dynasty, 15cm.Provenance Martin Grassnick [1917-2020] and thence by family descent. Martin Grassnick was a German architect, architectural historian and monument conservator. He lived most of his life in Mainz, finally moving to Baden-Baden where he died in 2020. He was a keen collector and primarily after the end of WWII, acquired many objects during numerous travels to Italy, Iran, China, Japan and India.

Hexagonal shape with open mouth, with side handles in the shape of small Foo dogs. Polychromed in bluish-grey celadon enamel.Celadon refers both to a glaze colour and to a type of pottery specific to China (Chinese: qingci, literally 'green porcelain'). Korean celadon ware from the Goryeo period (918-1392) used this translucent green or blue-grey glaze. There is, however, early celadon in China, where the process was invented in the Yue region of the Yangtze River basin. Celadon is very popular in Asia, as it allows the colour of jade, the sacred stone, to be obtained.
