A Delightful Early 19th Century Welsh Rustic Armchair of good rich colour & patination. The top rail having splayed ends pegged into tapering side supports with a single narrow splat to the centre. The shaped block arms resting on chamfered block posts leading down to a thick plank seat morticed through with three stick legs.
An 18th/19th Century Folk Art Back Stool. The shaped slot-in back board pierced with a central heart surrounded by chip carved flowers and roundels enriched with nail punched decoration. The square plank seat with moulded edge morticed and wedged with four tapering stick legs, 15 ins (38 cms) wide, 13½ ins (34 cms) deep and 33½ ins (85 cms) high.

A set of fourteen George III mahogany dining chairs, the moulded rectangular back with four conforming stick splats, on square tapered legs with spade feet, upholstered in near contemporary close nailed horsehair, 87cm h, early 19th c ++Some old worm damage noticeable on the back rail of a number of the chairs in the set. All but one of the chairs with added (probably in the 19th c) with supplementary bracing blocks to the seat frame. One chair with old replacement back rail; one chair with metal bracing repair to one of the back legs, another chair with split back leg tied together with string at the top, on chair with old spliced repair and angle iron brackets to one of the back legs but a set of good quality mahogany in well preserved attractively dry condition
