An Edwardian inkstand by Charles Stuart Harris, the rectangular stand with gadrooned borders, two pierced and gadrooned inkwell sections containing two cut glass bottles with gadrooned silver-mounted lids, and a central plain compartment, the lid being a gadrooned taper stick, the ring handle holding a plain conical snuffer. The stand with twin pen rests and supported on four stepped feet. London 1902. (See illustration)
REEL: Scarce Pownall Patent Oil-In Reel Patent No. 361767, 5"mahogany drum (normally seen only as bakelite), twin bulbous handles on curved brass seats, brass rear stanchion with oil tube and removable screw dip stick, foot return stamped "Made in England" indicating this reel was manufactured by Milward.
