A CHINESE JADE AND BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER circular, the pierced and leaf-carved cover surmounted by a pierced jade carving of cranes amidst foliage, the bronze censer cast with opposing temple dog masks and raised on mask-cast tripod feet, the underside cast with two five-claw dragons chasing the flaming pearl, raised on a leaf-carved wooden stand. Censer approx. 23.5cm wideGood definition to the casting. Nice brown patina. In generally very good condition without damage.

A GOOD 19TH CENTURY JADE HILTED INDIAN MUGHAL CHILANUM OR DAGGER, 37.5cm curved fullered blade deeply chiselled with a panel calligraphy to either side on a textured gilt ground, the forte with borders of scrolling foliage in gold koftgari and an architectural form with trefoil top and infilled with star forms in gold koftgari, characteristic hilt carved from a single piece of pale green jade, the crossguard with bud finials, the scrolling knuckle bow with bud terminal, bifurcated scrolling pommel with domed finial.

A 19TH CENTURY WHITE JADE HILTED KHANJAR, 29cm clean wootz damascus blade with armour piercing tip, bright polish to blade, the tapering double fullers with exposed damascus grain and chiselled with a short inscription, characteristic hilt of white or mutton fat jade, contained in its velvet wrapped wooden scabbard. Paperwork accompanying the dagger lists the inscription as Urdu - Mahamray Sri Partap Singh, while not entirely accurate it perhaps should read Maharaja Sir Pratap Singh who was Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir. Minor grey stain to tip now scrubbed, and ground chip to base of hilt.
