A fine late 19th century Chinese Erhu (two stringed bowed instrument) consisting of a long vertical stick like neck, with at the top two large tuning pegs, and at the bottom a small resonator body (sound box) which is covered with python skin on the front end, two strings attached from the pegs to the base, and a small loop of string (Qian Jin) placed around the neck, strings acting as a nut pull the strings toward the skin, holding a small wooden bridge in place, with a fitted box, length 88cm (illustrated)

A good lady's walking cane, the ivory handle carved with a naked cherub holding aloft a crown alongside a hardstone shield, beneath it a chased collar set with a cameo showing a female blackamoor. Condition Report: The bottom of the cane is snapped off but we have the other piece. Some hairline cracks and a crack on the stick just below the collar. The crown has a piece broken off and a piece just off the top of the shield. Tip of wing chipped. The stone shield has a crack.

A 19th century West Country Windsor stick back armchair. Condition Report: The front left leg has been broken and braced with a metal L shaped support. Split to the left corner of the seat approx 6" long. Some joints are a little loose and some light woodworm.
