Pair George III cast silver candlesticks of inverted baluster form, with classical swag and fluted decoration and fluted candle holders on similarly decorated pedestal bases with oak leaf borders, separate sconces with raised foliate rims (London 1774), Peter Desigries. All at approximately 55ozs, 28.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Some surface scratching and minor wear commensurate with age and use. Both candle holders have nibbling round edges. One stick has minor scuffing and distortion to base in one spot and does not sit completely flat. Other stick is very slightly uneven. No signs of major damage or repair. Marks are clear. Maker is Peter Desvignes not Desigries. Sconces may not be original although one has same maker's mark
