A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE 3-PART RETICULATED CELADON JADE VESSELChina, 20th century. Finely crafted in the stye of the Han Dynasty, showing intricate details and flawless execution. The compressed globular vessel and cover executed in openwork with an intricate and finely elaborated pattern of phoenix and dragon scroll, moreover, carved in relief with three detailed chilong on the cover, warping around a central chilong with bifurcated tail and elevated head, the vessel carved with two large chilong handles suspending loose rings and raised on a ribbed ring foot. The base on tripod feet issuing from dragon masks and intercepted with openwork phoenix designs. The semi-translucent stone of a celadon tone with cloudy white inclusions, darker specks and surface alterations.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and minuscule nibbling here and there. The disc worked in openwork with two sinuous chilong with bifurcated tails around a twisted rope inner ring, the external band carved and incised with irregular archaistic scrolls.
