Meticulously crafted in the style of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, achieved entirely through manual carving. The elegant ring is carved with small raised and joined curls, additionally, on each side there are two finely carved taotie-masks. The stone of white and ochre tones with russet inclusions. Items of personal adornment became popular in China during the Eastern Zhou period, when such rings were used together with other jade ornaments in the composition of pectorals and other types of articulated pendants. A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE 3-PART RETICULATED CELADON JADE VESSELChina, 20th century. Finely crafted in the stye of the Han Dynasty, showing intricate details and flawless execution. The compressed globular vessel and cover executed in openwork with an intricate and finely elaborated pattern of phoenix and dragon scroll, moreover, carved in relief with three detailed chilong on the cover, warping around a central chilong with bifurcated tail and elevated head, the vessel carved with two large chilong handles suspending loose rings and raised on a ribbed ring foot. The base on tripod feet issuing from dragon masks and intercepted with openwork phoenix designs.
