Foley Intarsio Art Nouveau Stick Stand, designed or influenced by the recently appointed (1896) Art Director, Frederick Rhead; the stand, of demi-lune shape, printed and hand painted with two panels of stylised primrose and honey yellow flowers with cursive teal blue leaves, on the burnt umber body behind the trough at the base and the curved stick support to the top; two slightly flared, flat columns with capitals, bearing similar, elongated yellow and blue foliage, above yellow scale panels, join the top and the trough, these being decorated with a sinuous design of yellow flowers, green and brown leaves and additional polychrome swirls, all with a strong Art Nouveau influence; 28 inches high; black printed The Foley ''Intarsio'' mark, Reg.No. 336411, hand painted WH and no. 3157 to the green stippled back(some damage to trough, please e-mail for condition report)

A CHINESE CARVED HARDWOOD & SILVER-METAL HANDLED WALKING STICK, the unmarked silver-metal handle of tapering hexagonal-section and decorated with various panels of sages, bamboo and calligraphy, the wood partially carved in deep relief with birds, animals, pine and foliage, 33.9in long, the handle 2.3in high.

Antique Walking Stick with Horn Handle. Gold or gold plated mount and collar, ebonised shaft and brass ferrule. Presented to James Binns 1907, presumably on his retirement. Binns was a well known organ builder working in Yorkshire. Edwardian. Length: 91cm. Condition Report: Good overall with minor dings.
