Early 20th Century walking stick having allover intricately knotted and woven string decoration, silver band hallmarked for London 1930, 90cm long Condition: There is some wear to the high spots and in places this has worn the binding away, but there are no loose elements or frayed sections apparent - **General condition consistent with age
Early 20th Century walking stick, the carved horn handle in the form of a goat's hoof, engraved silver band hallmarked for London 1919, 95cm long Condition: There appears to be a small diagonal crack in the horn of the handle running diagonally from the silver collar approximately 8mm, this may just be an internal flaw within the horn - **General condition consistent with age
Australian Interest - A carved wooden walking stick, with silver top "To Sid from Jack, Hermies, France, 9th April 1917". The stem carved with a serpent. NOTE - Hermies village was seized on the morning of 9th April 1917 by a surprise attack of The Second & Third Australian Infantry Battalions. Silver hallmark to top, London dated letter rubbed but probably 1917 (see illustration).
A Chinese horn walking stick, with carved dragon head handle. Length 32.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The dragon head handle has numerous small surface chips and abrasions. These should be visible from our image. The majority of the abrasions would polish out in our opinion. The only major loss is to some of the teeth. There is one large tooth missing to one side of the piece and there are several of the smaller upper teeth missing to both sides of the top jaw. There are stress marks around the loop of the handle but the handle is firm and secure. The bone stem is a little scuffed in places but has no significant damage.

CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, some rubbing to decoration, losses/old repairs.

Con. 52.5 cm long. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, marks and decoration slightly rubbed.

John Pearson art copper is not made in Newlyn but at his workshop near Tottenham Court Road, London. CONDITION REPORTS: Apart from a few minor 'dings' the chamberstick is in good, original condition. There are no splits, large dents or other flaws.
