A WELSH REAPER’S GRIT HORN, A STRICKLE STICK, AND A FIELD ANVIL. Unusually, a leather mixing pad is attached to the horn. It remains charged with grit as when found in Anglesey. The very scarce anvil (30cm) enabled chipped scythe blades to be hammered flat in the field. All early 19th century.

A parasol, with a silver coloured metal mount, a silver mounted walking cane, and another similar (3) Condition report Report by NG Parasol: handle unmarked. Cloth complete discoloured and with some staining. Silver mounted cane: hallmarked 1860, and initialled HJK, some knocks and bumps to mount and ebonised stick. Other: top unmaked with surface scratches. Knocks and bumps to cane, and missing ferrule.
