2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI Sport Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:60000Historically, the E-Class is Mercedes-Benz' best-selling model, with more than 13 million sold by 2015. A trend continued with the C207 E-Class coupé/convertible which was sold parallel to the W212 E-Class saloon and estate models. With the latest incarnation of the E-Class released for the 2017 model year, all body styles share the same W213 platform. The coupé (C207) was first shown at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, while the convertible (A207) was unveiled at the 2010 North American International Auto Show. This superb example is presented in Graphite with grey leather interior. Large Balinese double-ikat Gringsing Wayang cloth made in 1970-1980 in red yellow cream and black, 160cm x 83cm plus fringing Condition Report: Good overall condition Worn by villagers of Tenganan (considered to be the natives of Bali) as part of rituals and ceremonies. The native Balinese believe Gringsing cloths are sacred, and possess protective power to sustain life, ward off disease and maintain life balance. Larger cloths like this takes years to produce and is rare to find in this size. This is two separate Grinsing cloths stitched together. Typically, these are made small - scarf size. Large ones are particularly rare. The Gringsing pattern is known for having four pointed stars, with 4 scorpions inside the star guarding a square fort. The square fort represents Sumbul, a symbol of sustainable living. There is further symbolism in the colours: red (fire), cream/yellow (air), black (water). If these three elements can be balanced, then life will continue to be sustainable. All Grinsing cloths are made of natural cotton yarn, and can be decorated with geometrical flowers motifs, stars or crosses. The double-ikat cloth is one of the rarest and most complex textiles in the world. Hand made in only 3 places worldwide - small villages in Bali (Indonesia), India and Japan. This cloth was made in Bali in the remote village of Tenganan. Double-ikat is the process by which both the vertical and horizontal (warp and weft) threads are dyed with natural pigments in complex patterns (and according to specific rituals) before weaving on a back-strap loom. The final design is achieved by combining these threads patterns into carefully preconceived ornamental form. This is an extremely complex and time consuming process in order to ensure the pattern is carried by both the warp and the weft. Everything is hand made and natural, including colouring the thread. Thread colours (red, black, cream/yellow) are all natural, and the colours oxidises over time, with the red turning into a beautiful deep red hue
