RAY WOOD MANCHESTER UNITED PICTURE BOOK A player only small ring binder of eighteen 6" X 5" black & white photographs issued to Wood with the compliments of the Manchester Evening Chronicle for season 1957/8. Ray Wood has written a Certificate of Authenticity on a separate white card advising that the binder was his personal album. At the bottom of the Manchester United team group, being the first photo, it states that it was presented to Ray Wood. Photographs include several matches in the European Cup, the players and sports journalists boarding the plane for the journey to Belgrade 3/2/1958, Bill Foulkes, United's new captain, against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup 19/2/1958, Matt Busby with a walking stick, taking a look around the pitch at Wembley before the Cup Final, the United team taking the field in the Final, the United team being presented to the Duke of Edinburgh, 2 action photos from the Final, Matt Busby arriving at the Cup Final reception at the Savoy Hotel, the bus travelling through the streets of Manchester on their return from the Final and the scene outside the Ritz for the Cup Final party in Manchester. The first page is slightly loose. Generally good
