An early 20th Century patinated bronze car mascot of Old Bill, the World War One Tommy, cast with poised helmet, bold moustache and knotted scarf to neck, his helmet signed in the maquette, Rd.669204, c. 1930, design based on the work of Captain Charles Bruce Bairnsfather (1887-1959), height 4¾" (12cm).
