An interesting collection of seventeen various sticks and canes, to include: an Indian carved hardwood cane, with finely carved lion mask head and intricate floral decoration; a silver mounted figured malacca cane; another vertebrae style and horn handled stick; a silver mounted Royal Engineer's swaggerstick; a silver mounted ebonized stick; a silver mounted stick, the horn handle carved in the form of a hound's head; a novelty stick with concealed fountain pen and pencil; another dog's head cane; another stick with concealed umbrella; a rootwood cane; an African hardwood cane; and others, all contained within an inverted painted pottery pedestal, (the pedestal s.d.).

A Victorian painted cast iron twelve section stick stand, together with two umbrellas and a machine made terracotta rug CONDITION REPORTS The umbrella stand - one knob is missing, has been completely repainted, paint is flaking, general wear and tear, there appears to be no registration marks or numbers

A late Victorian silver mounted sword stick (London, 1897) and a machette together with a box of assorted decorative plates, china, etc, a three legged stool and a wooden tray CONDITION REPORTS The sword stick - case is splitting in several places, the rubber bung at the end is a replacement. The handle has a couple of holes, one to centre to the front. The blade has some rusting. The machete is modern, crudely made, the blade is pitted and rusting. The three-legged stool has wear and tear to varnish etc, and the legs are badly fitting at the top. The tray is crudely / roughly made. The box of sundry items - have wear and tear conducive with age and use.

A Vintage Cheltenham Boys School Velvet Cricketing Cap, the cap embroidered with the dates 1932-1933 together with a swagger stick with a metal mount stamped Cheltenham College and a watercolour by J. Bateman entitled 'Cheltenham College Chapel' and an etching entitled 'The Chapel', both works framed and glazed.
