A 19th century Chinese Famille Verte porcelain joss stick/incense holder modelled as a figure of a Mandarin with his robes overall painted with a phoenix with a small aperture to the top of his hat, height 9cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: The right foot has been broken off and reglued, some surface wear and rubbing to the glaze at the raised areas, area of fritting to the left elbow, some shallow losses to the tip of his robes in the lower part. Minor rubbing to the paint.

Karabakh long rug woven with a camel train at the top end, south west Caucasus, early 20th century, 8ft. 2in. X 3ft. 10in. 2.49m. X 1.17m. Overall wear, heavy in places; small holes to field; crease mark to lower end and to sides; 'bites' to sides; losses to sides, especially lower right side and to ends. Note the profusion of camels in the mid-blue field with various herdsman including one brandishing a herding stick; other small animals and filler ornaments.
