The top embossed with a regimental device and engraved "1st KOYLI Cricket Cup 1907 Winners F Coy 7783 L Sergt A F Moore". Silver hallmark for Birmingham 1908. Malacca shaft GC Sergeant Arthur F Moore landed in France with the Battalion on the 10th August 1914, he is noted as been taken POW.
