A mahogany stick barometer, signed Manticha & Co, circa 1820, broken arched pediment, exposed mercury tube with a single vernier silvered dial signed, thermometer tube, barber pole stringing inlaid borders, 97cm high20.04.17, Half of the pediment is missing, dial front door frame is loose and the veneers have come off and are lifting, case with small scratches and dents, later cistern cover is loose with one screw missing, dial is discoloured and needs silvering, mercury tube with air bubbles.
Various Aircraft Instruments to include Aircraft Fuel Quantity indicator from RAF C-130 Lockheed Hercules XV189 removed from the aircraft in 1995 and this aircraft was later scrapped in May 2003. Fuel quantity gauge 0-9000 lbs. Excellent condition. This aircraft took part in Falklands War operations and operated from RAF Lyneham/RAF Wideawake Ascension Island, an Air Speed Indicator from Royal Airforce/ Royal Navy Westland Wessex Helicopter ASI Air Speed Indicator 0-140 knots, a Westland Wessex HU5 Helicopter Jet Engine Tachometer RPM Gauge 0-30,000 RPM and a Royal Navy Westland Wessex HAS3 Co Pilot Control Column Stick Grip AC61872, condition varies A/G, worth inspecting (4)
WWII RAF Items: including assorted button, shoulder bagdes etc. in cigar case, swagger stick, survival kite, thermos flask, window radar jamming strips and 1943 bakelite war savings sign in recognition of money raised in Wings for Victory campaign. The sign was fire damaged by bombing during WW2. Condition varies worth inspecting
