A rare and interesting original WWII Second World War German Luftwaffe cockpit lever / joystick. Likely from a Junkers Stuka JU 87 dive bomber plane. Mechanism to base, with flip-top trigger to handle. Various makers codes and marks to the shaft and mechanism. No makers plaque. Consigned direct from the family by which it was obtained - the vendor's father used to live in Kent during the war and when German bombers and fighters were shot down on the mud flats, the vendor's father and pals would run out to the fields and take souvenirs off of the planes. This stick lever being one such 'souvenir.' A rare and fascinating piece of WWII aviation history. Measuring approx 73cm tall.
