Good English silver and aluminium mounted violin bow by W.E. Hill & Sons, stamped Hill, the stick round, the ebony frog plain and with an aluminium adjuster, 63gm *The stamp C6 on the angle plate and stick above the mortise, and again the number 6 on the head plate, indicate that this bow was made by Arthur Bultitude. This bow is sold with an insurance valuation from Michael Johnson dated 15th March 1998
A Victorian 19th century aesthetic movement cast iron two section stick stand in the manner of Coalbrookdale. Of large form having ribbed base with two lift out trays with pierced rising sun and crosshatch back and shaped angular top. Painted in an ebonised finish with Victorian lozenge to verso in the manner of Coalbrookdale.
