Ivory Miniature Paintings - Early miniatures, possibly of Turkish or Persian Descent. One depicting a simple elder wearing robes seated, accompanied by a Lady adorned with jewels to her head and neck with long flowing dark hair, reaching over the elder to a bowl. Foliate decoration behind. The other of a Robed elder with headdress on holding Subha/Misbaha (prayer beads) along with a stick in the other hand. Both unframed.

1927 London General Omnibus Co (LGOC - Underground Group) quad-royal POSTER 'Stick to London's Model Bus' by Frank Mason (1876-1965) who also designed posters for the railway companies & BR. Features an NS-type bus which could be cut out and pasted to a box to create a model bus. Folded, with some small partings at the fold-corners but very reasonable overall. A scarce poster not seen by us at auction before. [1]
