A fine Chinese celadon jade censer, gui, probably 17th/18th century, with a pair of ‘dragon’ handles, carved in low relief with an archaistic band of taotie masks and stylised phoenix, on a stepped foot, 16cm across, 6.5cm high, later wood stand and box. Provenance: purchased from Jade House, Kowloon, Hong Kong, 17th September 1955 for HK$ 350.
