1 bottle Millburn 16 yo Highland Malt Whisky Distilled 1966 - Gordon and Macphail Connoisseurs Choice 75cl. 40% ABV (illustrated) Millburn The founding of Millburn distillery is a little hazy. It may have been founded as early as 1807 although the first official record of its existence came in 1825 when the distillery was licensed to Rose & McDonald. After briefly being owned by the Haig family, the distillery was bought by a grain merchant and was converted into a mill. The distillery was rebuilt in 1876 and production appears to have continued until 1922. The Distillery was the last to survive in Inverness and was closed in 1985.
