A section of Wedgewood black basalt Jasperware pieces, 20th century, comprising: a jug, 12.5cm high (at fault), three candle sticks, each 9.5cm diameter, a cabinet plate, 23.5cm diameter, a table lighter, 9.5cm high (at fault), a trinket box and cover, 9.5cm wide, a stem vase, 12cm high, and six pin dishes of various shapes (14) CONDITION REPORT:All pieces show surface wear including surface scratches and scuffs. The jug shows a rectangular area of mottled white 1.5cm wide to the interior, possibly where a sticker has lifted the surface finish. The lighter shows a similar area of mottled white to the side and is not functioning.

A GOLD MOUNTED TORTOISE SHELL SNUFF BOX INSET WITH A WEDGEWOOD JASPERWARE PLAQUE, C. 1800. The lid is set with a gold frame chased with scrolls and urns beneath a crystal cover. The gold lined interior has a cut away section to the lid revealing the stamped 'Wedgwood' mark on the base of the plaque. 8.5 cm. Selection of miscellaneous includes vintage tray, glass bowl, plates etcThe tray was custom made to display these Chinese silk sleeve embroideries, taken from elaborate garments of the last Imperial rulers of China.After the Qing dynasty was deposed in 1912, items were being sold off . In 1922 , when the father of a close friend was in China with the British Navy , these embroideries were among many items he purchased .The tray was made with them on his return to Hampshire.The green Jasperware Wedgewood plates are a mix from the 1800s and from the same family.
