A violin labelled JTL, circa 1910. Paper label to the interior bearing the harp logo and J.T.L underneath, the violin is also marked inside with the number nine. A one-piece back, which measures 36cm with the total length of the instrument being 59cm. The violin is cased and includes an unmarked bow with abalone inlays to the frog. Two violins. A Stentor 'Student' violin and an early 20th century German 3/4 size violin. The overall length of the Stentor is 58cm and the back measures 35.5cm, the German violin is 55cm with the back being 34cm. Both are cased and with bows. A viola and a violin, circa 1900. Both are of German origin and lack labels. The back of the violin, which is stamped 'Stainer', has an approximate length of 33.5cm. The viola has a two-piece back with an approximate length of 40.4cm. The instruments are cased, with a single bow and a Wolf Forte-Primo rest.
