Acrylic on paper board painting titled "Window Shutter Memory" depicting an abstract geometric scene against white background, 2003.Brad Widness was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and taught drawing, printmaking, watercolor, design, and digital media at Minnesota State University, Mankato, as well as January interim courses at Gustavus in Bookmaking, and a Bookmaking workshop at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis. Brad’s work has been selected for many juried regional and national exhibitions, and his work is included in numerous printmaking portfolios and traveling exhibits around the country. Highlights from the last ten years include participating in an invitational exhibition at the MAPC Conference in Minneapolis, receiving a McKnight Fellowship, and having work selected from an open portfolio review for exhibit at the Highpoint Center for Printmaking.Sight; height: 12 in x width: 9 1/2 in. The surface is stable, and the color is bold and bright. There are paint losses along the extreme edges against the frame. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. Very light wear to the frame.

Aperture dial moves with slight resistance as it is rotated; the functionality of the blades have not been assessed. Shutter button clicks and ISO dial rotates. Wear to the exterior of the camera including a missing screw that secured the leather to the body of the camera. Dust and debris accumulated along the recessed areas of the camera's exterior consistent with age and use. The interior of the camera has not been inspected and the camera has not been tested for funtionality. Wear including scuffs to the leather case.
