John Gregory King (1929 - ), "Fernie" depicted four studies of hounds to include 'Forester 1966', 'Painter 1965', 'Cracker 1965' and 'Banker 1966', signed, inscribed and dated 1969, watercolour over pencil, 32 x 47cm.; 12.5 x 18.5in. * He was strongly influenced by the sporting artist Lionel Edwards and although brought up to farm, he began to draw and paint from an early age. A founder member of the Society of Equestrian Artists, King has had many exhibitions and his hunting and polo pictures have been reproduced as prints and illustrations for numerous books and magazines.

Collection of Olympic Games and other memorabilia relating to Thomas H Thould, a member of the British Gold Medal winning water polo team at the London Olympics of 1908 and comprising a gold trimmed navy blue England swimming costume bearing an embroidered crowned lion and British Olympic badge, two similar England swimming costumes, a framed British Olympic embroidered tracksuit badge, a white flannel peaked team cap with embroidered Union Jack, an enamelled competitors badge, a competitors card, an invitation to the British Olympic Council reception held at the Grafton Galleries, Bond Street, London, a silver plated commemorative medallion by Vaughton and a program for the Franco-British Exhibition, 1908 held at the Great Stadium, Shepherds Bush which included the final trials for the Olympic swimming events.
