Two Prototype Sheaffer Cloisonne pens English, 1980s : both Targa-style pens, the first in brown lacque and marked sheaffer (without the usual country of manufacture), with inlaid fleur-de-lys motif incorporating a malachite bud, with Sheaffer USA nib unit, in mock-up packaging comprising box, card box and outer box, all with matching motif, mint, a rare and unusually comprehensive design idea, together with a similar pen in black with a red rose motif new-old stock.
An S T Dupont Fidelio pen and pencil French, late 1990s : marked 925 white metal with pinstriped design, gold-plated clip, 14k 585 ST (stub/italic) nib, in original packaging with paperwork, similar mechanical pencil but with silver clip, both excellent, together with two Dunhill Lacque de Chine pens in a Namiki box.

Four Montblanc 254 German, 1957-59 : comprising a green pen with medium nib, a red (burgundy) pen with generous medium nib, and two black pens with fine/medium nibs generally very good but split in one black cap, together with a red (burgundy) 252, a black 3-44 OBB, a black 3-42 M, and a pencil.
Six Pelikan 140, 400 or 400NN German, 1950s-mid-1960s : both 140 pens with lined green barrel sleeves and black caps, Pelikan 14c 585 ST (??) and B nibs fair and good, a light tortoiseshell and brown 400 with Pelikan 585 14 Karat medium nib no imprint on cap band, good, and a later black 400 with fine nib fair, one 400NN with light tortoiseshell sleeve and Pelikan 14c 585 EF nib replaced cap, the other with lined green sleeve and B nib with 140 cap and with similar 355 pencil.

A Japanese bronze and ivory mounted desk stand cast with two bull elephants, late 19th/early 20th century, the animals portrayed in combat, on a naturalistically cast base, with recess for pens at the front and lidded compartment for ink to the right, 19cm high, 44cm wide, (lacking inkwell from within)
A square moulded glass inkwell with white metal hinged domed lid, height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5cm), together with a silver plated paper weight modeled as a man playing golf, height measures 4 inches (10cm) and a selection of white metal pencils (3). The molded glass inkwell is in good condition. There are surface scratches and areas of tarnish to the lid, but no serious damage. The hinge works well and the lid fits properly. The base of the glass is scuffed, but there is no other damage at all. There are some build-ups of dirt in the grooves of the glass. he paperweight is also in good condition. There are minor scratches to the surface, and the golf club is a little bent. he pencils and fountain pens are in varying conditions. Most are usable and in good condition, but some are dirty, missing the lead, discoloured, or worn. In total there are seven pencils, two fountain pens, and one fountain pen and pencil in one.

Company Ltd., signed to the flat-side by the members of the English and Australian teams at the 1st test, June 11-16, 1953, all signed in ballpoint pens, some a little faded, signatures include A.L. Hassett, A.R. Morris, R. Benaud, W.A. Johnston, G.B. Hole, D. Tallon, J.C. Hill, R.R. Lindwall, Len Hutton, A.V. Bedser, T.E. Bailey, Denis Compton, J.H. Wardle, D.J. Kenyon, T.W. Graveney, P.B.H. May, R. Tattersall, R.T. Simpson, T.G. Evans, and a few others, plus the signatures of the teams of Gloucestershire and the Duke of Beaufort XI to the back. A stirring test that England should have won but the last two days were blighted by rain and the match ended in a draw. England went on to win the ashes for the first time since 1932/33. (1)

*Russian Cosmonauts. Signed black and white photograph, signed in Russian by [Yuri] Gagarin, Jherman Titov, Andryan Nikolayev and Pavel Popovich, early 1960s, the slightly grainy photo showing the four cosmonauts in military dress smiling from behind a stone wall with flowers, each signed on the diagonal above their respective cap in different pens, 12 x 18cm. A rare group photo of the first four Russians in space. Yuri Gagarin (1934-1968) piloted Vostok 1 (12th April 1961) and was the first man in space, orbiting for 1 hour and 48 minutes. Titov, Nikolayev and Popovich piloted Vostok 2, Vostok 3, and Vostok 4 each orbiting the earth numerous times between 1961 and 1962. (1)
