The movement striking a bell and stamped Vincenti et Cie Medaille d'Argent and set in a black patinated globe with gilt Roman numeral hour counters and engraved serpent pointers. The globe surmounted by a pair of gilded lovebirds and festooned in garlands of flowers, raised on a pedestal of swirling clouds with Cupids bow and quiver of arrows to the base. The white marble D-ended base edged on gilt beading and terminating on toupee feet, 19½ ins (50 cms) in height.

The underside impressed and signed Rörstrand, Åre (Åreskutan), 20 ins (51 cms) in height.
