A diamond panel ring, circa 1940-50, of Odeonesque design, the pierced and shaped panel with channels of cushion-shaped old-cut diamonds, above a geometric gallery, between similarly set shoulders, white precious metal mounted, indistinctly stamped '950', total diamond weight approximately 1.15ct, ring size OCondition report: The diamonds appear to be 19th century hand-cut stones and have irregular facet symmetry, most likely utilised from an earlier jewel, with variable colour and clarity. Some of the stones are drawing yellowish/brownish tints and most of the stones have surface-reaching fractures, chips and facet edge abrasion, giving an overall subtle lively appearance. Estimated SI2 to P2/P3 clarity and I to M colour, assessed mounted. The ring mount has general surface wear, scuffs, scratches and nicks/chips, commensurate for use. There are fine splits to both sides of the geometric gallery, which may require solder repair, and the shank is replaced, with solder joins at the junctions to the shoulders. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 6.7gm.

The diamond is bright and lively, weighing approx. 0.20ct. Heavy wear to mount and setting, thinning to underside of setting and to sides of shank, due to wear against another ring. Mount unmarked and untested. Gross weight approx. 4.8gm. Second ring: one half pearl missing, heavy wear and fractures to surface of other half pearls. General wear to mount. Lot 242

A sapphire and diamond panel ring, the square step-cut sapphire millegrain set within a border of graduated single-cut diamonds, two colour precious metal mounted, total diamond weight approximately 0.25ct, ring size O½Condition report: The sapphire has a dark greenish-blue hue and contains multiple fracture and fissure inclusions, with areas of whiteish colour zoning, visible under magnifcation. The sapphire has surface abrasion, a small surface chip and measures approx. 5.3mm in length x width and 4mm depth. Diamonds are fairly bright and lively with slightly variable colour and clarity, some stones with small nicks/chips and surface-reaching fractures, estimated SI1 to P2 clarity and H to K colour, assessed mounted. The mount has surface wear throughout and the edges of the setting have patchy wear and thinning, with small losses of metal in places. The lower half of the shank appears to be replaced and the outer sides of the setting are worn. The shank has an indistinct stamped mark. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 2.2gm.

A green tourmaline and diamond cluster ring, the circular mixed-cut green tourmaline claw set within a border of single-cut diamonds, 18ct two colour gold mounted, total diamond weight approximately 0.30ct, ring size OCondition report: The tourmaline has a dark brownish-green hue with surface wear and measures approx. 7.6mm diameter x 4.8mm depth. Diamonds are well matched and bright, with estimated VS2 clarity and H to J colour, assessed mounted. The central claw setting requires attention, as some of the claws have lifted away from the tourmaline and others may require re-tipping. The cluster setting is tilting slightly to one side and the edges of the setting have patchy wear. There is a small split to the side of one shoulder. The mount has surface scuffs and nicks/chips, throughout and the hallmarks are heavily rubbed. Gross weight approx. 4.1gm.

Diamonds are well matched and lively but draw a light yellow tint, with estimated VS2 to SI2 clarity and K to M colour, assessed mounted. General surface wear to mount, with abrasion to the sides of the setting and thinning/occasional small splits to the edges of the collets. Solder seams to back of shank, probably due to re-sizing. There is a worn mark to the shank, possibly 'P?'. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 2.7gm.
