An early 20th century certified sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval cut sapphire within sur-round of sixteen mixed cut diamonds, set in white metal head leading to yellow metal shank, ring size O, 4.4gms, with Gem and Pearl lab report stating the natural sapphire weight to be 3.39ct, and there is no evidence of heat treatment observed and origin to be Sri Lanka, sapphire measurements 9.5 x 6.8 x 5.3mm  Condition report:  All diamonds present. Claws present to the sapphire. Mount is a little low in areas, commensurate with age and use. Sapphire shows various inclusions with x10 loupe. Minor chip seen to girdle of sapphire (under claw) (seen with x10 loupe) Diamonds are bright, lively and well matched.Inclusions seen to diamonds under x10 loupe. Under bezel shows wear and possible area of repair Evidence of a re-sizing piece to shank. No major signs of thinning to shank. General scuffs and surface blemishes to metal, commensurate with age and use.
