A William III Silver Trefid-Spoon, by Lawrence Coles, London, 1701 the bowl oval and with ribbed rat-tail, the terminal engraved, probably later, with initials 'W+B' over 'T+O' and dated 169918.9cm long, 1oz 2dwt, 34grFully marked on back of handle. The maker's mark is clear. There is wear to the other marks. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The bowl is somewhat thin and with some hammer marks.

A George III Provincial Silver Two-Handled Cup, by John Langlands, Newcastle, 1771 inverted bell-shaped and on spreading reeded foot, with central reeded band and two scroll handles, one handle engraved with initials 'O' over 'TA'18.4cm high, 18oz 13dwt, 580grFully marked underneath and further marked with maker's mark on each handle. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are no obvious thin areas but it is possible the cup may have been erased. There are some very minor bruises and the foot has been pushed very slightly up into the body. One lower handle junction may have been repaired.

The brooch is in fair condition with abrasion/chipping to the emerald. The brooch fastens with a pin and c-hook catch. They bear no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 6.8 grams. CR made 26.03.24.

A 1907 gold sovereign in its Lloyd's of London gilt-tooled leather fitted case and complete with its 1932 presentation card, which reads: "EGYPT" SALVAGE - This sovereign was recovered in June, 1932, by the Station Salvage Steamer "Artiglio" from the P&O steamer "Egypt" which sank off Ushant on May 20th 1922 in 70 fathoms after collision. [Signed] P.G. MacKinnon - Chairman of Lloyds - Lloyd's 30th June. (The SS Egypt collided with a cargo vessel off the French coast while carrying gold and silver insured for over £1m from Tilbury to Bombay. Lloyd's paid out in full within ten days, but it was not until a decade later that deep-water-salvage technology had advanced sufficiently for the underwriters to execute a successful recovery.)

MS058RDWe are not prepared to dismantle the scooter casing to gain access to the motor.
