1940s dress in gold and green crepe fabric with covered buttons, side gathering at waistline and shaped and gathered sleeves by Bradley's, Chepstow Place, London plus a 1950s black coat with wide shawl collar and diamond shape detail at the waist on the back.Dress is in very good condition o damage,holes or repairs . A few stitches have come undone on center at the front. Some buttons are grubby. Additional photographs now online Coat interior and exterior is in very good condition, there is some surface dust .

It was bombed and set on fire by the Argentine Skyhawk fighters during the Bluff Cove Air Attacks. His ship was carrying ammunition as well as phosphoric bombs and thousands of gallons of diesel and petrol, Out of his platoon of 30 men, 22 were killed. The Welsh Guards lost a total of 48 men killed and?97 wounded aboard the Sir Galahad. Weston survived with 46% burns, following which his face was barely recognizable:?
