A novelty late Victorian 'Mouse' Ring, in the manner of Thornhill & Co., the narrow high carat gold band, with an applied gold mouse sitting on a plinth running freely around, marks on band indecipherable, Size O. London retailer Thornhill specialised in novelty Jewellery; their 1880 advert in 'Queen's' magazine described their mouse range as 'serving the caprice of the day'.
