The graduated old-cut and four early modern round brilliants approx. 1.31 cts total, all claw-set in white on a yellow D-section shank stamped '18ct' & 'Plat, size Q, 3.3g gross Condition Report: Overall good condition for age, general light wear and tear commensurate with age and use. THe diamonds measure approx. 3.0mm diameter; 4.05mm x 4.15mm x 2.4mm; 5.2mm x 5.3mm x 2.9mm (o/c), 4.4mm x 4.2mm x 2.6mm; and 3.1mm diameter. Colour varied about I-K, clarity about SI.

An 18th century gold posy ring 'Hearts reunited live contented(?)'. With an indistinct maker's mark only 'CD(?)'. The sides worn, 3.6mm wide, size O+, 2.5g Condition Report: Overall fair/reasonable condition for age, wear and tear commensurate with substantial wear over a long period of time. Both sides are worn and relatively 'sharp' and in places this wear encroaches on the maker's mark and on the posey, however the posey is still legible.
A Victorian 22ct gold and turquoise ring. The small round cabochon rub-over set on a flat-section shank with hallmarks for Birmingham 1881, size O, 3.2g gross Condition Report: Overall good condition for age, general wear and tea commensurate with age and use. There is evidence that this ring has been worn next to other rings as the shank is 'sharp' both outer 'corners' through rubbing against other rings both inside and outside. Possible evidence of a sizing near the maker's mark.

Centred with an oval mixed-cut amethyst claw set between small round brilliant diamond trefoil collet shoulders, on a square section shank, unmarked, size O+, 3.9g gross Condition Report: The amethyst measures approx. 11.6mm x 10.1mm x 6.6mm. The six diamonds each measure 2mm diameter.

A LATE 18TH CENTURY SWISS SILVER COFFEE POT by Papus & Dautun, Lausanne, c.1770, of baluster form with three chamfered scroll and pad feet with moulded junctions, the moulded spout opposite a moulded wooden C-scroll handle with silver sockets, the hinged domed lid with integral spout cover, all surmounted by an urn-form finial. 25cm high, 20.5 troy ouncesThe marks on the underside and they are clear. The hinge and cover are in good order. The handle with a split but is firm in the sockets. Surface wear commensurate with age. In generally good condition.

WW2 Highland Light Infantry Military Medal group of five comprising MM, 1939-1945 War Medal, Defence Medal, 1939-1945 Star and France and Germany Star; three with ribbons; awarded to 1702538 A. Sjt. A.L. Alden H.L.I.; various copies of his citation giving details of his bravery on 26 Sep 44 at Donderdonk France when he single-handedly silenced an enemy machine gun nest. The citation also mentions a further heroic act on 15 Nov 44 when he risked his life to obtain vital information on the position of enemy mines and booby traps saving the lives of many other soldiers; the collection also comes with two contemporary group photographs of his Highland Light Infantry regiment, copy photograph of him being awarded the MM by Field-Marshall Montgomery, two post-war tug-o-war medallions and other items; together with a shooting medallion awarded to Gnr. J. Alden (his brother John) inscribed 123 L.A.A. Regt. R.A. Rifle Meeting Harburg 1945 and a Life Saving bronze medallion to J. Alden April 1938Condition Report:Most items reasonable condition consistent with age and use.Medals and ribbons a little grubby from storage.

A Victorian 18ct diamond set cluster ring. The central claw set old European cut diamond of 0.15ct approximately, surrounded by eight smaller diamonds of 0.07ct approximately, Birmingham 1889, size O, 2.57g.One stone has a crack on the edge. Another has a carbon spot. These are not noticeable to the naked eye. The stones are evenly matched in colour but the cuts are slightly different on each stone. The diamonds are bright. Some of the claws are worn, but the stones are all still well set.
