The eight-day centre-seconds movement with stop/start button and 7.5 inch circular white dial with small Arabic numeral hour track and numbered 0552/461-9413 with the M. O. D. arrow device to centre within a large Arabic five minute track to circumference, the bevel glazed cylindrical case with cast moulded bezel and drilled mounting flange to rear, diam 27cm overall. The five-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch brass break-arch dial with calendar aperture and subsidiary seconds dial to the matted centre within an applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, Arabic five minutes and signed Robert Bray, LONDON to lower edge, with mask and scroll spandrels to angles beneath Strike/Silent dial flanked by dolphin cast mounts to arch, the break-arch case with integral pilasters to hood above break-arch trunk door polychrome and gilt relief decorated with chinoiseries above a man-o-war on a dark green ground, on a reduced plinth base with moulded skirt (pedimnet lacking, case generally distressed), 208cm high.
