An early 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o`clock, bordered by minute track, plain case hallmarked London import 1929, movement with fifteen jewels and Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter 46mm. The case has lots of surface marks and scratches, but is generally ok having a very light knock to the lower case back, the white porcelain dial has a number of hairline cracks,
A 1930`s 9ct gold open face keyless wind pocket watch signed J.W Benson London, the white dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o`clock, plain case numbered 645715, hallmarked London 1938, movement with fifteen jewels and English lever escapement. Case diameter 44mm. The movement is currently working, but will require an overhaul, the movement is quite dirty and bears some signs of previous servicing, but otherwise appears to be in a generally pleasing aesthetic condition, the case shows signs of general wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing, the majority of which should polish out, however please be advised, there are a few dints to the case back and around the sides, the pendant bow shows no sign of slackness, dial looks to be in a pleasing condition, as do the hands, but there are some areas of what looks to be surface rust on them, glass is quite dirty and covered with a multitude of minute scratches, but otherwise looks to be free of any obvious damage. An 20th century gold plated keyless wind open face Waltham pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o`clock, with a signed movement, numbered 8929491, with Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm. Together with eight silver and base metal pocket watches recommended for repair or restoration purposes. Movement is currently functioning, but would benefit from a service, case shows signs of general wear commensurate with age with scratches, marks and tarnishing, verdigris appears to have formed around the bezel edge wear it meets the glass, dial and hands appear to be in a generally pleasing condition with some light tarnishing and marking, the glass possesses some very light scratches and chips around its edge.
