They dress much better than at Barbadoes the country people there only wear a petticoast and a handkerchief on their head in this manner.", and life in England and various other topics, "What a provoking and what a distressing thing the late fraud or hoax as Cobbet calls it upon the Stock Exchange has been. Lord Cochrane has vindicated himself as far as lays in his power, bu the Committee do not seem to be satisfied yet. Cobbet blames him for condescending to explain what passed at his house on the 21st of February.", small tears along some folds, a little creased, slightly browned.
